Terms of Service & License Agreement

Effective date: July 10, 2026 · The Grizzly Academy, Priest River, Idaho · hello@thegrizzlyacademy.com

The plain-English version: buy it once, and your household can print and use everything, forever, for every one of your kids. Don't share the files or resell the content. If it doesn't serve your family, tell us within 30 days and we'll refund you. That's the heart of it — the details follow.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and The Grizzly Academy, a Grizzly Cove Digital company based in Priest River, Idaho ("we," "us"). They cover your use of thegrizzlyacademy.com (the "Site") and any digital curriculum, sample packs, guides, or other downloadable materials you obtain from us (the "Materials"). By using the Site or downloading the Materials, you accept these Terms.

2. Household License

When you purchase the curriculum, we grant you a lifetime, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for one household. Under this license you may:

Under this license you may not:

Teaching more than your own household — a co-op, microschool, or classroom — is wonderful, and it needs a group or school license. Email hello@thegrizzlyacademy.com and we'll set you up.

3. Refund policy — the 30-day guarantee

If the curriculum doesn't serve your family, reply to your receipt email within 30 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full. No forms and no interrogation. Upon refund, your license ends and you agree to delete the files and stop using printed copies. We reserve the right to refuse service and future sales to accounts that abuse this policy.

4. Our content and intellectual property

The Materials — every lesson, workbook page, test, answer key, illustration, icon, logo, and the names "The Grizzly Academy," "Field Challenges," and "Grizzly Strong" — are our original work, protected by copyright and trademark law. Purchasing a license does not transfer ownership of any content to you. Unauthorized distribution is copyright infringement, and yes, we do send takedown notices — it keeps the curriculum affordable for the honest families who make this work possible.

5. Educational disclaimer

The Materials are an educational resource for parents, not professional, legal, medical, or psychological advice. You are your child's teacher and remain fully responsible for your child's education, supervision, and safety — including compliance with the homeschool laws of your state or country, which vary and change. Field Challenges and physical activities (including movement and exercise content) are performed at your discretion and under your supervision; always match activities to your own child's age, ability, and health.

6. Website, email, and privacy

If you join our email list or purchase, we collect your name and email to deliver files, updates, and occasional messages from us. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone. Every email includes an unsubscribe link that actually works. Purchases are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Payhip or Etsy) under their own terms and privacy policies — we never see or store your card number. The Site may use basic analytics to understand visits; no data is used to identify you personally.

7. Digital delivery

The Materials are delivered as digital downloads (PDF, US Letter). Nothing physical ships. If a download link fails, email us and we'll fix it promptly. You're responsible for your own printing costs and equipment.

8. Warranties and limitation of liability

The Site and Materials are provided "as is." We work hard to make them excellent, but we don't warrant they'll be error-free or meet every family's needs, and we make no guarantee of specific educational outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Materials is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for injuries arising from physical activities performed under your supervision.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Academy grows (new products, group licensing, community features). The current version always lives at this page with its effective date. Material changes will be noted to email subscribers. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts serving Bonner County, Idaho. Questions, licensing requests, or concerns: hello@thegrizzlyacademy.com.
